You are changeable; ever waxing; ever waning . . . (the art of John William Waterhouse)

Today's music selection is "O Fortuna," a song linked to Arthurian Legends (in my mind) thanks to the movie Excalibur.

I had never heard of Waterhouse and the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood until today.  The themes seem very similar to those addressed in later Art Noveau pieces.

The vision that was planted in my brain, still remains . . . (the art of Jackson Pollock)

Dipping my toe back in slowly. There is a Pollock exhibit at the DMA showing his later work. I am not normally a Pollock fan, so of course, this exhibit appeals to me.
