He's Not The Artist You Want, But The Artist You Need (Art of Bruce Timm)

Batman: The Animated Series was something new when it premiered. It wasn't the Superfriends, it wasn't Adam West's Batman. It was a serious take on Batman in the vein of the first Tim Burton Batman movie.  The artists and art direction were amazing, and DC Animation still leads Marvel on the small screen.  Bruce Timm was part of this resurgence.
